Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alex Araña took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vimaro Cuba in the 5th minute of play forced UD Martinez's goalkeeper Poroso Raedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víctor Menchaca scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Poroso Raedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Poroso Raedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víctor Menchaca in the 9th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes UD Martinez got a freekick which was hit by Jose-Antonio Castilla. Franklin Carrios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Gabiña having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Alex Araña took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Miguel Gabiña to make any attempt to save it. 23 minutes into the game, Pedro Roales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Miguel Gabiña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. UD Martinez's Pedro Roales pulled a muscle in his leg after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Peter Barragan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Víctor Menchaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Víctor Menchaca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Cuyuja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

After 54 played minutes UD Cuyuja got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Peiro. The supporters of UD Cuyuja booed when UD Martinez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose-Antonio Castilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Vimaro Cuba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Cuyuja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vimaro Cuba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, UD Cuyuja's Víctor Menchaca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Poroso Raedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Poroso Raedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Menchaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 75th minute, Víctor Menchaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 played minutes UD Martinez got a freekick which was hit by Suscal Maimo. Víctor Menchaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Poroso Raedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Carrios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Martinez's Franklin Carrios got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Víctor Menchaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Poroso Raedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vimaro Cuba in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Jose-Antonio Castilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Martinez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Cuyuja the free kick. After 94 played minutes UD Martinez got a freekick which was hit by Jose-Antonio Castilla. Víctor Menchaca struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Poroso Raedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Cuyuja. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
