Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) CD Limachig's Marques Betances started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marques Betances struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Xofre Espinoza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Limachig. 6 minutes into the match, CD Limachig's goal looked a bit too open when Guerrón Molino came free, but Cotera Oyardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guerrón Molino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cotera Oyardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matilde FC's Urtsua Frago got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to CD Limachig getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jaime Grado hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, CD Limachig's goal looked a bit too open when Urtsua Frago came free, but Cotera Oyardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Peramato charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Peramato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Matilde FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luciano Peramato hit a great ball. The supporters of CD Limachig booed when Matilde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuzen Langarica didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marques Betances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marquez Valcarce got free with Xofre Espinoza in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CD Limachig's Cotera Oyardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guerrón Molino in the 27th minute of play. In the 36th minute Urtsua Frago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cotera Oyardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandro Mirueña charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandro Mirueña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexandro Mirueña kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Cotera Oyardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsua Frago in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Urtsua Frago made the kick off in the second half. Marquez Valcarce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Xofre Espinoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Marquez Valcarce managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Limachig's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquez Valcarce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xofre Espinoza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matilde FC's Xofre Espinoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marques Betances in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Urtsua Frago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cotera Oyardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xofre Espinoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marques Betances, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Urtsua Frago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Limachig's Cotera Oyardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marquez Valcarce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jaime Grado fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Limachig's protests and gave Jaime Grado a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes CD Limachig got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Grado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Madama in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cotera Oyardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CD Limachig's Cotera Oyardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save CD Limachig from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Limachig's goalkeeper Cotera Oyardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Marquez Valcarce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute of the match, Urtsua Frago tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cotera Oyardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cotera Oyardo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Guerrón Molino sent off a good shot on target. When Xzaver Arveras fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matilde FC's protests and gave Xzaver Arveras a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Matilde FC got a freekick which was hit by Xzaver Arveras. Marquez Valcarce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Matilde FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Matilde FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
