George Sorribo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Sorribo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caicedo Pinos in the 6th minute of the match. Vellito Cabanela's late challenge caught a UD Relicario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vellito Cabanela helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Curichanga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vellito Cabanela to maneuver through the defense. Wilmer Xavalera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Curichanga FC's Adolfo Alcala got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavieon Capistrano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. George Sorribo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caicedo Pinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Xulian Moure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Trigo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, UD Relicario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, UD Relicario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Mir to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Curichanga FC's Evelio Albarellos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 32nd minute, Vellito Cabanela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caicedo Pinos might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Sorribo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caicedo Pinos ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Xulian Moure had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Sorribo. Curichanga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xulian Moure was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

The wind increased when Adolfo Alcala made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Curichanga FC's goalkeeper George Sorribo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Alcala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Monge Ascarretazabal made a huge save. A collision led to Curichanga FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Michael Ziguenza hit a great ball. Xulian Moure's late challenge caught a Curichanga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xulian Moure helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UD Relicario's Xulian Moure got a free kick in the 61st minute. George Sorribo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caicedo Pinos went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Curichanga FC's George Sorribo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caicedo Pinos in the 75th minute of play. Caicedo Pinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Sorribo having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Eduardo Betancur notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Curichanga FC's George Sorribo. George Sorribo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Curichanga FC's George Sorribo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulian Moure in the 92nd minute of play. George Sorribo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 98 minutes into the match, Curichanga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xulian Moure came free, but George Sorribo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UD Relicario's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
