Esterilla Teixido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Heso in the 19th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Raul Heso put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Esterilla Teixido. Xantalen Rossell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vellito Ochagavia in the 36th minute of play. Ramos Feloaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xantalen Rossell having to interfere. Raul Heso struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Esterilla Teixido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Shulichum. In the 46th minute, Ximeno Valseca made a precise shot to the right of Esterilla Teixido. UD Casiganga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ximeno Valseca made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, UD Casiganga's goalkeeper Esterilla Teixido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Heso. After a rather tough play, UD Casiganga's Rolando Viado got a free kick in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Maquiano during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, CD Shulichum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Maquiano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Vellito Ochagavia managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Casiganga's supporters rose to their feet, but Vellito Ochagavia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xantalen Rossell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of UD Casiganga booed when CD Shulichum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Maquiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. UD Casiganga's Vellito Ochagavia got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ramos Feloaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Javier Labaja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xantalen Rossell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ximeno Valseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esterilla Teixido having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Vellito Ochagavia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Casiganga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Vellito Ochagavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 91st minute of the match Marcelo Maquiano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcelo Maquiano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marcelo Maquiano hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes, Zunbeltz Castejana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Shulichum and the UD Casiganga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Zunbeltz Castejana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The CD Shulichum supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Shulichum would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
