If Ximeno Valseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 6 in the game by Raul Heso from a close distance when the talented Lavallén Miranda managed to make a qualified save. CD Tunuyunga's players were relieved. Ximeno Valseca charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ximeno Valseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Ximeno Valseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, CD Tunuyunga's goalkeeper Lavallén Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Heso. Xaiver Villagran charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xaiver Villagran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of CD Tunuyunga:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CD Shulichum:s goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Raul Heso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Shulichum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Heso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ximeno Valseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CD Shulichum's Marcelo Maquiano got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Lavallén Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximeno Valseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Xantalen Rossell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caicedo Bracho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Raul Heso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodney Taran hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in CD Tunuyunga's zone, Ximeno Valseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lavallén Miranda came out of the goal and Ximeno Valseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xantalen Rossell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Mirones in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caicedo Bracho in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xantalen Rossell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Mirones in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xantalen Rossell saved CD Shulichum from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A collision led to CD Tunuyunga getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Agustin Mirones hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Cardarda during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CD Shulichum booed when CD Tunuyunga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Cardarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Ximeno Valseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ximeno Valseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Caicedo Bracho took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Xantalen Rossell to make any attempt to save it. Raul Heso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lavallén Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xantalen Rossell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caicedo Bracho in the 79th minute of the match. Caicedo Bracho struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Xantalen Rossell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Tunuyunga. If Raul Heso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in CD Shulichum fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! CD Tunuyunga's Agustin Mirones got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustin Mirones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xantalen Rossell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caicedo Bracho in the 96th minute of play. If Agustin Mirones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The CD Shulichum supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Tunuyunga's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Tunuyunga.
