The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mario Antolin in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan-Carlos Chandeiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mario Antolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Juan-Carlos Chandeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Bellosillo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Bellosillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Nicolas Bellosillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erwin Larrimbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Juan-Carlos Chandeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Castro Arvelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, UD Olmedo's Vincente Castropan got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Clemente Onez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UD Olmedo's Juan-Carlos Chandeiro didn't even have to move. Fleitas Placiencia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pancho Capel in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in UD Olmedo's zone, Erwin Larrimbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Carlos Chandeiro came out of the goal and Erwin Larrimbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. UD Olmedo's Juan-Carlos Chandeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Larrimbe in the 36th minute of play. Candelario Zapatero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Antolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Juan-Carlos Chandeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Larrimbe in the 47th minute of play forced UD Olmedo's goalkeeper Juan-Carlos Chandeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Antolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 60th minute Mario Antolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Carlos Chandeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Antolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erwin Larrimbe in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan-Carlos Chandeiro saved UD Olmedo from getting behind. Juan-Carlos Chandeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Antolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Carlos Chandeiro having to interfere. If Erwin Larrimbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UD Olmedo's Juan-Carlos Chandeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Larrimbe in the 79th minute of play. If Erwin Larrimbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lopez Beyzania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 90 in the game by Pancho Capel from a close distance when the talented Fleitas Placiencia managed to make a qualified save. Chisalata FC's players were relieved. 91 minutes into the match, Chisalata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lopez Beyzania came free, but Fleitas Placiencia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lopez Beyzania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fleitas Placiencia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of UD Olmedo were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Chisalata FC side.
