Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Macias Arriola took the kick off in the first half of the match. Claudio Bellid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Aurelio Condal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macias Arriola charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Macias Arriola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Macias Arriola kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Macias Arriola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ricardo Centeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferrer Geli in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Condal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Chiquilpe getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Juan-Pablo Valls hit a great ball. Aurelio Condal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Bellid in the 35th minute of play. If Ferrer Geli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Centeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macias Arriola in the 41st minute of the match. Claudio Bellid might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Condal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Bellid ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the game, UD Samborondon's Ferrer Geli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Condal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferrer Geli made a kick off. Ferrer Geli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villafuerte Amezaga kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Macias Arriola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, UD Samborondon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urko Tercilla to maneuver through the defense. Chiquilpe's Aurelio Condal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferrer Geli in the 92nd minute of play. UD Samborondon's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
