Urbano Brunati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urbano Brunati kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vellito Dorrego in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito Tuñon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lorenzo Frexes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lopez Lombraña having to interfere. Vellito Dorrego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lechuga FC's Justavino Avendaño got a free kick in the 31st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Arraya during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 32 minutes into the game, one of Lechuga FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Lopez Lombraña successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Banife FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Denis Carrozal hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Banife FC's goalkeeper Lopez Lombraña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Brunati. Lorenzo Frexes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Lopez Lombraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Hordoñez to strike the kick off in the second half. Vito Tuñon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Hordoñez in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Lorenzo Frexes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lechuga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Frexes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vellito Dorrego who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Vito Tuñon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Urbano Brunati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lechuga FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nestor Cedron hit a great ball. Urbano Brunati struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lopez Lombraña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lechuga FC. In the 83rd match minute, Lechuga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justavino Avendaño to maneuver through the defense. Vellito Dorrego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Vito Tuñon made a huge save. 85 minutes into the game, Nestor Cedron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lechuga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banife FC the free kick. The supporters of Banife FC booed when Lechuga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Cedron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Vellito Dorrego could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Vito Tuñon however easily saved by the left post. Lorenzo Frexes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lopez Lombraña having to make a save. Wilmer Marty took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vito Tuñon. Lechuga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Although Lechuga FC had been in control for most of the match, Banife FC still came away with the win.
