In the 22nd minute, Villarreal Mudarra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santos Muños, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Cushuimi booed when Malvas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Ordax didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Segundo Carnero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Villarreal Mudarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Muños was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Villarreal Mudarra in the 68th minute of play forced Malvas SC's goalkeeper Santos Muños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eduardo Ansures had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Malvas SC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Juan-Carlos Bustillos hit a great ball. After 77 minutes, Tomas Ladrada made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cushuimi's Suárez Zuniga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Tomas Pubill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cushuimi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Pubill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eduardo Ansures had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the game, Tomas Pubill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cushuimi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvas SC the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Cushuimi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Pubill to maneuver through the defense. Juan-Carlos Bustillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suárez Zuniga having to interfere. Villarreal Mudarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Muños read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
