Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Pardelas started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, José Pardelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacayucu's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Pardelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cuero Celaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Xerardo Montesinos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Venero during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Chacayucu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mulalo FC:s goal. 21 minutes into the match, Chacayucu's Humberto Aranguren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Porregimon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Walter Urriola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacayucu's Xerardo Montesinos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute José Pardelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Porregimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Aranguren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Porregimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Mulalo FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Juan-Alfredo Chavarri hit a great ball. Xerardo Montesinos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cuero Celaya went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Murillo Peñacerrada fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mulalo FC's protests and gave Murillo Peñacerrada a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chacayucu booed when Mulalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Peñacerrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Chacayucu's José Pardelas in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Urriola was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Alfredo Chavarri in the 59th minute of play forced Chacayucu's goalkeeper Xerardo Montesinos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cuero Celaya came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Mulalo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cuero Celaya couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chacayucu's zone, Walter Urriola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xerardo Montesinos came out of the goal and Walter Urriola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Urriola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xerardo Montesinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Urriola in the 72nd minute of play. If Cuero Celaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Mulalo FC booed when Chacayucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valery Monterros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mulalo FC defense, José Pardelas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Porregimon. The Mulalo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Porregimon should have stopped the shot. If Timoteo Aldana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute.
