Valiente Matas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Zhimbrue's Umea Ubach got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Macías Cachero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Garabito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klimowitz Cordal came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Garabito could save by the left post. After 20 minutes, Vincent Cenal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lando FC and the UD Zhimbrue players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lando FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vincent Cenal hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, UD Zhimbrue's Edwin Novoa tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Klimowitz Cordal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ricardo Garabito made a huge save. After 25 minutes, Hernando Tezanos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Zhimbrue and the Lando FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes UD Zhimbrue got a freekick which was hit by Hernando Tezanos. The audience was convinced that Valiente Matas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Ibias was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 30 minutes of play, UD Zhimbrue's Valiente Matas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Ibias was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Lando FC's zone, Umea Ubach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Ibias came out of the goal and Umea Ubach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valiente Matas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Patricio Ibias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umea Ubach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Lando FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virila Mañes to maneuver through the defense. Edwin Novoa's late challenge caught a Lando FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edwin Novoa helped the player get up and apologised. Edwin Novoa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Zhimbrue's goalkeeper Ricardo Garabito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Garabito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macías Cachero in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in UD Zhimbrue's zone, Macías Cachero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Garabito came out of the goal and Macías Cachero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. UD Zhimbrue's Ricardo Garabito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macías Cachero in the 66th minute of play. Patricio Ibias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valiente Matas in the 67th minute. A collision led to Lando FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Armando Roiz hit a great ball. Umea Ubach struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Patricio Ibias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Zhimbrue. 71 minutes into the match, UD Zhimbrue's Valiente Matas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Ibias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Umea Ubach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Patricio Ibias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Ibias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valiente Matas in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, UD Zhimbrue's Edwin Novoa got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, UD Zhimbrue's goal looked a bit too open when Darío Pertierra came free, but Ricardo Garabito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Klimowitz Cordal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Zhimbrue's Ricardo Garabito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82 played minutes Lando FC got a freekick which was hit by Zigor Ayaso. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Umea Ubach managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Zhimbrue's supporters rose to their feet, but Umea Ubach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Ibias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Valiente Matas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virila Mañes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lando FC! Valiente Matas took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Ibias. Patricio Ibias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The UD Zhimbrue players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
