Cristian Pena's late challenge caught a Motete SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Pena helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Pena hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Brito Ludueña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Arnoldo Riancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xamo Montalvo in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Riancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Riancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xamo Montalvo in the 24th minute of play. Arnoldo Riancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brito Ludueña, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Brito Ludueña struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Arnoldo Riancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolona. Motete SC's Arnoldo Riancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Angel Husarte in the 30th minute of play. A hard shot 33 in the game by Xelo Revillas from a close distance when the talented Ysmael Cillero managed to make a qualified save. Bolona's players were relieved. If Mariano Arraña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Motete SC's goal looked a bit too open when Brito Ludueña came free, but Arnoldo Riancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Motete SC defense, Brito Ludueña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Riancho. The Motete SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Riancho should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Mariano Arraña reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ysmael Cillero. The goal made the score 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Arraña made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Bolona's goal looked a bit too open when Xelo Revillas came free, but Ysmael Cillero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Bolona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Urtasabel to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Valentin Oberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Cillero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 played minutes Bolona got a freekick which was hit by Brito Ludueña. Xamo Montalvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arnoldo Riancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Xamo Montalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xamo Montalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ysmael Cillero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xelo Revillas in the 85th minute of the match. Mariano Arraña scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ysmael Cillero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Arraña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xelo Revillas in the 93rd minute of play forced Bolona's goalkeeper Ysmael Cillero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bolona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Motete SC.
