Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 7 played minutes Selvayacu got a freekick which was hit by Zambrano Calvo. The supporters of Galapagos FC booed when Selvayacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugaitz Tarrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes, Zambrano Calvo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selvayacu and the Galapagos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Galapagos FC booed when Selvayacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zambrano Calvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selvayacu's Rodrigo Saboya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitor Lasalde in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Rogerio Bernalda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Saboya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodrigo Saboya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitor Lasalde in the 22nd minute of play. Galapagos FC's Yaniusky Cumbres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Galapagos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 29thth minute of the game Vitor Lasalde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selvayacu's Rodrigo Saboya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Galapagos FC's zone, Cántaro Urive stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaniusky Cumbres came out of the goal and Cántaro Urive tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Saboya came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Galapagos FC's Texeira Baldonado. But to his dismay, Texeira Baldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Vitor Lasalde came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Galapagos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitor Lasalde couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Saboya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Texeira Baldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selvayacu's Cántaro Urive got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Rodrigo Saboya was a little too slow when Vitor Lasalde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-2. Rodrigo Saboya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitor Lasalde in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Galapagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zabal Puredo came free, but Yaniusky Cumbres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Galapagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cántaro Urive came free, but Yaniusky Cumbres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Selvayacu getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ismael Reñe hit a great ball. A hard shot by Rogerio Bernalda from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Rodrigo Saboya's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 74 minutes into the match, Zabal Puredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yaniusky Cumbres. Galapagos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zabal Puredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 78 minutes, Rubén Pascua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galapagos FC and the Selvayacu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Galapagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rubén Pascua. Zabal Puredo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Yaniusky Cumbres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selvayacu. In the 84th minute, Vitor Lasalde fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodrigo Saboya, passed just outside the right post. Ismael Reñe kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Selvayacu's Rodrigo Saboya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Selvayacu from getting a goal against them. During the 88th minute of the match Zambrano Calvo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zambrano Calvo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Selvayacu's Zambrano Calvo got a free kick in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Lasalde in the 93rd minute of play forced Selvayacu's goalkeeper Rodrigo Saboya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vitor Lasalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Galapagos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
