The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teo Regil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Beitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Regil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Ribadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Vilson Laviada helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CD Yungulla's Vilson Laviada got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute, Leon Ascarraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 played minutes CD Yungulla got a freekick which was hit by Ysmael Garabito. Leon Ascarraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Xalvador Asenjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CD Yungulla booed when UD Sinchal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yépez Turienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xalvador Asenjo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Ascarraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Xalvador Asenjo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in UD Sinchal's zone, Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xalvador Asenjo came out of the goal and Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalvador Asenjo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xalvador Asenjo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Ascarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Yungulla's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, one of UD Sinchal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for CD Yungulla. Navarro Catanach stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Xalvador Asenjo. 3-0. Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Asenjo having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Segundo Zalon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Yungulla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Arnoldo Ribadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Teo Regil made a huge save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CD Yungulla fully deserved thier win.
