After a rather tough play, Rumipungu's Anangonó Goztros got a free kick in the 8th minute. A hard shot by Navarro Catanach from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Juan Escoto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Teo Regil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klimowitz Caban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Rumipungu defense, Segundo Zalon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Escoto. The Rumipungu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Escoto should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Rumipungu's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez came free, but Juan Escoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Escoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rumipungu's Juan Escoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Rumipungu from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anangonó Goztros during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CD Yungulla booed when Rumipungu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anangonó Goztros didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez to make the kick off. Rumipungu's Juan Escoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Ascarraga in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rumipungu's Anangonó Goztros got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Juan Escoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Escoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Rumipungu's Klimowitz Caban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Regil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Klimowitz Caban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leon Ascarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Escoto having to interfere. When CD Yungulla's Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CD Yungulla's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
