Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfonso Villabedon kicked off to start the match. When Vigil Obispo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Sabaloma's protests and gave Vigil Obispo a yellow card for diving instead. Vigil Obispo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Alfonso Villabedon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Sabaloma the free kick. A collision led to Piango getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alfonso Villabedon hit a great ball. Zabal Barnuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Uribe having to interfere. Santos Uribe made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Roberto Jado sent off a good shot on target. After 28 played minutes UD Sabaloma got a freekick which was hit by Vilson Tosantos. In the 33rd match minute, UD Sabaloma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Jado to maneuver through the defense. Zabal Barnuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute, Enrico Carmenata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sanchez Arripe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Macias Herrasti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 played minutes UD Sabaloma got a freekick which was hit by Vigil Obispo. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fleitas Lemus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fleitas Lemus hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Fleitas Lemus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Santos Uribe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Piango booed when UD Sabaloma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zabal Barnuevo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to UD Sabaloma getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Zabal Barnuevo hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Alfonso Villabedon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Villabedon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fleitas Lemus came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the UD Sabaloma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fleitas Lemus couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes Piango got a freekick which was hit by Leon Mier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fleitas Lemus in the 71st minute of play forced Piango's goalkeeper Santos Uribe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Uribe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fleitas Lemus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Macias Herrasti made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Sanchez Arripe sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Alfonso Villabedon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macias Herrasti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fleitas Lemus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zabal Barnuevo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Santos Uribe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Sabaloma. Fleitas Lemus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zabal Barnuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Uribe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fleitas Lemus, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Macias Herrasti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Villabedon, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
