Hernández Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henry Bazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernández Rocha having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Caimito SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Chanza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Estrada Rosello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caimito SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Estrada Rosello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matamba Nieva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gómez Mancina in the 70th minute of the match. CD Zhipta's Romero Cora got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Estrada Rosello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matamba Nieva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
