Xantalen Arranz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Madrazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, FC Tianxia's Viviano Pareja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Parisi Soto. Parisi Soto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Parisi Soto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viviano Pareja in the 26th minute of play. Xantalen Arranz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Gayangos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute, Denis Gayangos made a precise shot to the right of Xantalen Arranz. FC Tianxia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Zenaido Fontanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ceiba's Bruno Escorcia got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viviano Pareja was the one to do the kick off. Parisi Soto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viviano Pareja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenaido Fontanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Parisi Soto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viviano Pareja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viviano Pareja might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Parisi Soto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viviano Pareja ran back to his position shaking his head. Viviano Pareja took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Parisi Soto. Parisi Soto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Ceiba's Zuri Ennecon got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Viviano Pareja managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tianxia's supporters rose to their feet, but Viviano Pareja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Parisi Soto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ceiba's goalkeeper Parisi Soto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elias Madrazo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, FC Tianxia's Perlaza Lobregon made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Parisi Soto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Zenaido Fontanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Tianxia's Xantalen Arranz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Tianxia from getting a goal against them. Viviano Pareja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Parisi Soto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Ceiba's goal looked a bit too open when Zenaido Fontanes came free, but Parisi Soto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Zenaido Fontanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tianxia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenaido Fontanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zuri Ennecon charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zuri Ennecon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zuri Ennecon hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. If Viviano Pareja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceiba's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
