Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonatan Rolan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chiriboga Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mario Melendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in UD Chau's zone, Jonatan Rolan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José-Francisco Vizcarra came out of the goal and Jonatan Rolan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, UD Chau's Luis Illanas got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Chau's goalkeeper José-Francisco Vizcarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Juan-Pablo Ciscal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Rolan in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José-Francisco Vizcarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José-Francisco Vizcarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Rolan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Rolan in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José-Francisco Vizcarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Melendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Illanas in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, CD Huaraqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zilar Cabañas to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Afaba charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Afaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CD Huaraqui's Benjamin Afaba got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Valentine Toyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Melendo having to interfere. CD Huaraqui's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Luis Illanas scored to the left of an out of position Mario Melendo, making the score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Illanas to make the kick off. José-Francisco Vizcarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costante Bruna in the 53rd minute of play. Luis Illanas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiriboga Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Mario Melendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Melendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Illanas's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 69 minutes, Claudio Sabando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Chau and the CD Huaraqui players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UD Chau's Claudio Sabando got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costante Bruna got free with José-Francisco Vizcarra in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mario Melendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiriboga Igual in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, UD Chau's José-Francisco Vizcarra got control of the ball when Benjamin Afaba tried to sneak it across the goal line. CD Huaraqui's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Olaeta in the 85th minute. When Benjamin Afaba came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the CD Huaraqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Afaba couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, CD Huaraqui's Costante Bruna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José-Francisco Vizcarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan-Pablo Ciscal struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Mario Melendo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Chau. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Rolan in the 98th minute of play forced UD Chau's goalkeeper José-Francisco Vizcarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the UD Chau players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
