In the 47th minute, Curipungu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zorion Sallas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd minute, Zorion Sallas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Monjo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 58 minutes into the game, Hannibal Lecter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Flavio Monjo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zorion Sallas in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Monjo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zorion Sallas in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Monjo saved Curipungu from getting behind. When Zorion Sallas fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juananu FC's protests and gave Zorion Sallas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Juananu FC's Zorion Sallas got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Viviano Batalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kris Atom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Monjo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Texeira Bollo charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Texeira Bollo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Curipungu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Juananu FC:s goal. George Maguire kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Curipungu's Texeira Bollo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Llantaron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Curipungu got a freekick which was hit by Calisto Losua. 92 minutes into the match, Curipungu's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Atom came free, but Flavio Monjo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juananu FC's Kris Atom got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
