An unexpectedly hard shot by Espínola Aguilar in the 8th minute of play forced Matocha's goalkeeper Fabricio Clarabout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Barcelona SC's Espínola Aguilar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 14th minute, Wilson Davalillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcelona SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Fortunato Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Gerardo Logroño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Barcelona SC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Messia came free, but David Maziere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Cancel during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Mateo Messia made the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Clarabout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Montaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Fabricio Clarabout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espínola Aguilar in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Matocha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ximen Bailina was slow to take the kick. During this time Barcelona SC's players had a chance to rest. Ximen Bailina made a great header on Barcelona SC's corner, it was just that Matocha's Fabricio Clarabout managed to reach the ball for a save. Matocha's Fabricio Clarabout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espínola Aguilar in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barcelona SC's Espínola Aguilar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Matocha getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fernando Megid hit a great ball. Barcelona SC's Espínola Aguilar got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Espínola Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fabricio Clarabout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barcelona SC had won after a very even match.
