Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) René Cediel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Biron getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ortiz Higuera hit a great ball. Yoel Miera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reasco Villamayor having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rey Carmona in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reasco Villamayor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manta SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Biron's Marlon Lizundia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ramón Viera. Reasco Villamayor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rey Carmona's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Ortiz Higuera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Rey Carmona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Biron's Reasco Villamayor didn't even have to move. Ramón Viera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Macua in the 34th minute of play. Manta SC's Ramón Viera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Cediel in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Rey Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reasco Villamayor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Viera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Cediel in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Biron's Kaviedes Bolinaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramón Viera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rey Carmona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rey Carmona in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reasco Villamayor saved Biron from getting behind. Biron's Reasco Villamayor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rey Carmona in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rey Carmona in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reasco Villamayor saved Biron from getting behind. Reasco Villamayor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Carmona, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rey Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rey Carmona had several of the Biron's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Reasco Villamayor as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ortiz Higuera was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Biron! In the 80thth minute of the game Rey Carmona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biron's Reasco Villamayor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reasco Villamayor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rey Carmona in the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Biron's Reasco Villamayor got control of the ball when Bustos Davalos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, René Cediel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bustos Davalos in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reasco Villamayor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Rey Carmona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reasco Villamayor was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Reasco Villamayor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rey Carmona's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Rey Carmona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biron's Reasco Villamayor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Rey Carmona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reasco Villamayor. Biron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rey Carmona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Manta SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
