Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Tofiño started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leoverliz Morros in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Oyardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Procuraduria's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Quiñónez Orduña 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Arnoldo Oyardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Tofiño in the 15th minute of the match. Procuraduria's Daniel Almonte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quiñónez Orduña in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes, Cornejo's Samaniego Paradelo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Almonte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cornejo reached it. After some careless play in the Procuraduria defense, Gabriel Baltuile kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Almonte. The Procuraduria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Almonte should have stopped the shot. Quiñónez Orduña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Daniel Almonte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Procuraduria got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Hernaiz. Quiñónez Orduña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Almonte having to interfere. Arnoldo Oyardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Tofiño in the 37th minute of play. Cortez Cabero charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cortez Cabero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Procuraduria got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Cabero.

Arnoldo Oyardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Hernaiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ximun Ambrosio during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Cornejo got a freekick which was hit by Ximun Ambrosio. If Humberto Hernaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Procuraduria booed when Cornejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximun Ambrosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes in the game, Pedro Tofiño fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arnoldo Oyardo having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Cornejo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leoverliz Morros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cornejo's Gabriel Baltuile got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Procuraduria got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Cuervo. In the 78th minute, Samaniego Paradelo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Procuraduria's Daniel Almonte didn't even have to move. Cornejo's Arnoldo Oyardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cornejo from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Salas Yturrondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Cornejo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Tofiño fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Leoverliz Morros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Almonte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Baltuile in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cornejo's goalkeeper Arnoldo Oyardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Tofiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Oyardo having to interfere. Leoverliz Morros struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Arnoldo Oyardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Procuraduria. Daniel Almonte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Procuraduria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cornejo.
