After 3 minutes, Mora Tofino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuatis and the Quillalli players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Francisco Barma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Alberto Jaurigui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Felix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Segundo Provencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuatis's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Provencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington Felix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quillalli's goalkeeper Washington Felix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valencia Cañaveral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Barros Iturbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valencia Cañaveral couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Valencia Cañaveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barros Iturbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Jaurigui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Valentine Baldaliso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington Felix. Quillalli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentine Baldaliso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ugaitz Francia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Washington Felix. Quillalli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Segundo Provencio struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. The supporters of Cuatis booed when Quillalli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martinez Calvon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
