Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Lasaca in the 3rd minute of play. With 5 minutes on the clock, Nacho Chasco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in UD Chavay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! In the 11th match minute, UD Chavay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Marin to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Arnoldo Yerro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UD Chavay's Veronica Merodio suffered a concussion after 20 minutes and had to leave the field. Zeru Osas's late challenge caught a UD Chavay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeru Osas helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Punachisac SC got a freekick which was hit by Zeru Osas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Alsina in the 25th minute of play forced UD Chavay's goalkeeper Bolívar Fierro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bolívar Fierro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Alsina in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Arnoldo Yerro managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Chavay's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Yerro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Vigil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Punachisac SC's zone, Arnoldo Yerro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Vigil came out of the goal and Arnoldo Yerro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Yerro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Teijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fernando Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Arnoldo Yerro managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Chavay's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Yerro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Vigil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Vincent Fontanez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Vigil. That made the score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arnoldo Yerro made the kick off in the second half. Vincent Fontanez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnoldo Yerro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Yerro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Punachisac SC's Freddy Aniego got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Arnoldo Yerro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Yerro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Danilo Macias came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the UD Chavay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Macias couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Yerro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fausto Teijon came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the UD Chavay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Teijon couldn't finish the play. Fernando Vigil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Yerro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Arnoldo Yerro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fernando Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
