Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raul Mazariegos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jorge Baezabal scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Cerredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raul Mazariegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Baezabal took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Cerredo. Domingo Cerredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. UD Tarqui's Luzuriaga Caborredondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parrales Borroel in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Jorge Baezabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Tarqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Chantilin the free kick. In the 19th minute, Jorge Baezabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Mazariegos in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luzuriaga Caborredondo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jorge Baezabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Jorge Baezabal came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the UD Tarqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Baezabal couldn't finish the play. CD Chantilin's Domingo Cerredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose-Antonio Fontanes in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Parrales Borroel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Chantilin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Parrales Borroel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Raul Mazariegos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luzuriaga Caborredondo. Raul Mazariegos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The CD Chantilin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UD Tarqui were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Baezabal was the one to do the kick off. Alex Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Luzuriaga Caborredondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UD Tarqui's Luzuriaga Caborredondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parrales Borroel in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Jorge Baezabal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domingo Cerredo, 1-3. Jorge Baezabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Cerredo having to interfere. Alex Tello's late challenge caught a UD Tarqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Tello helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, CD Chantilin's goalkeeper Domingo Cerredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose-Antonio Fontanes. Domingo Cerredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Baezabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Baezabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Rego during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes CD Chantilin got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Rego. After recieving a nice pass, UD Tarqui's Moreta Ulibarri tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. From a short distance, UD Tarqui's Jorge Baezabal, in the 88th minute, tried to place the ball behind Domingo Cerredo, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Romani during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Parrales Borroel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes CD Chantilin got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Queiruga.
