Marques Barona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidalgo Astorgano in the 19th minute of play. If Leonardo Pas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidalgo Astorgano in the 23rd minute of play forced Guayllabamba's goalkeeper Marques Barona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xzavier Rubina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xizavier Revenga having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Guayllabamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Vasco to maneuver through the defense. Guayllabamba's Marques Barona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Guayllabamba from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cumbicus Homar to make the kick off. Cumbicus Homar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Cumbicus Homar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xizavier Revenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xzavier Rubina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xizavier Revenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumbicus Homar in the 71st minute of play. Xizavier Revenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xzavier Rubina in the 77th minute. Cumbicus Homar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xizavier Revenga having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Galleturo SC's goalkeeper Xizavier Revenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xzavier Rubina. Xizavier Revenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cumbicus Homar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
