Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. John Vados started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Vados in the 6th minute of play forced CD Piragua's goalkeeper Yader Barbadillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that John Vados's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yader Barbadillo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. If Mario Busvidad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yader Barbadillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Vados in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to CD Piragua getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Leon Consul hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Jorge Ferreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Alfredo Ordoñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Ferreiro scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan-Alfredo Ordoñez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When CD Conrrogal's John Vados in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Piragua's goalie prevented a goal. Oswaldo Llana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, CD Piragua's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Busvidad came free, but Yader Barbadillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorge Ferreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Piragua's Yader Barbadillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Vados in the 37th minute of play. CD Conrrogal's Juan-Alfredo Ordoñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save CD Conrrogal from getting a goal against them. 2-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Jorge Ferreiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Ferreiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Oswaldo Llana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Alfredo Ordoñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yader Barbadillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Busvidad's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CD Piragua's zone, John Vados stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yader Barbadillo came out of the goal and John Vados tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Mario Busvidad put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Yader Barbadillo. Jorge Ferreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Juan-Alfredo Ordoñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Vados fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yader Barbadillo having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, CD Piragua's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mario Busvidad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 86th minute, Mario Busvidad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yader Barbadillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Mario Busvidad fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Conrrogal's protests and gave Mario Busvidad a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes CD Conrrogal got a freekick which was hit by Mario Busvidad.
