Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) CórdovaFC's Gustavo Xandri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xandro Carlos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbasa Planes having to make a save. Gustavo Xandri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Planes having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, CórdovaFC's Flavio Comillas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbasa Planes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of CórdovaFC booed when UD Calug was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernandez Sopeña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Bonjoch came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Calug's Esteban Miñon. But to his dismay, Esteban Miñon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Urbasa Planes stood somewhat misplaced when Gustavo Xandri came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 20 minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Rubén Boces managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CórdovaFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubén Boces was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Xandri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbasa Planes having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gustavo Xandri managed to get in a good position for a shot. CórdovaFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Xandri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbasa Planes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Gustavo Xandri sped through UD Calug's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urbasa Planes. In the 32nd match minute, UD Calug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Asteguieta to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Xandri took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbasa Planes. Urbasa Planes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When Rubén Boces came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the CórdovaFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubén Boces couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Xandri in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbasa Planes saved UD Calug from getting behind. Urbasa Planes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Xandri, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Miñon was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Rubén Boces cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Urbasa Planes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 58 minutes, Gustavo Xandri made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. UD Calug's Urbasa Planes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, CórdovaFC's Xandro Carlos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urbasa Planes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CórdovaFC's Rubén Boces got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in UD Calug's zone, Rubén Boces stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbasa Planes came out of the goal and Rubén Boces tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Xandri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Urbasa Planes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Ovidio Asteguieta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Calug fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Xandro Carlos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Planes having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Rubén Boces got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of UD Calug booed when CórdovaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Tarriba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Xandro Carlos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CórdovaFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. 86 minutes into the match, Gustavo Xandri notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of UD Calug's Urbasa Planes. Urbasa Planes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The CórdovaFC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when CórdovaFC's Gustavo Xandri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CórdovaFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
