When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Peter Riguez put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pancho Oporto. Kaviedes Burgueño did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Pancho Oporto 9 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Peter Riguez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pancho Oporto, 3-0. Andres Viñe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klimowitz Rescuro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Sarayacu's goal looked a bit too open when Villarreal Lordaliego came free, but Andres Viñe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ordonez Llibre in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pancho Oporto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Burbano Orallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Umaña kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Celeste Fútbol Club's Vigil Garcidueñas was substituted for Villarreal Lordaliego. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Ordonez Llibre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ordonez Llibre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pancho Oporto was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Sarayacu's goalkeeper Andres Viñe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vigil Garcidueñas. Sarayacu's Ramiro Barba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pancho Oporto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 66th match minute, Sarayacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Riguez to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vigil Garcidueñas got free with Andres Viñe in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 minutes, Ramiro Barba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarayacu and the Celeste Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramiro Barba kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Celeste Fútbol Club's zone, Peter Riguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pancho Oporto came out of the goal and Peter Riguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Xaver Gobantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarayacu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celeste Fútbol Club the free kick. The supporters of Celeste Fútbol Club booed when Sarayacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaver Gobantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celeste Fútbol Club's Costante Santander was substituted for Burbano Orallo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klimowitz Rescuro in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Viñe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celeste Fútbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gavica Cardeño in the 77th minute. After taking down the ball on Celeste Fútbol Club's corner Gavica Cardeño fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andres Viñe quite easily take care of the ball. Vigil Garcidueñas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Viñe having to make a save. Sarayacu's Veto Carvajal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sandro Abel in the 85 minute of the game. In the 91st minute Ordonez Llibre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancho Oporto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaviedes Burgueño in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pancho Oporto saved Celeste Fútbol Club from getting behind. In the 97th minute Klimowitz Rescuro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Viñe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
