Nestor Santervas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Antuñano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walme Basaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Santervas having to interfere. Nestor Santervas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Antuñano in the 30th minute of the match. Xavies Orellana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Chucho Covielles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gonzalo Guridi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Varo.'s late challenge caught a Xeneize BJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Varo. helped the player get up and apologised. Roque Antuñano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Santervas having to interfere. After the first half Xeneize BJ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Guridi was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Nestor Santervas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nestor Santervas made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gonzalo Guridi sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Santervas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Antuñano in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vimaro Eureste during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vimaro Eureste kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Jose Murga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Chucho Covielles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavies Orellana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Xavies Orellana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chucho Covielles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gonzalo Guridi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Xavies Orellana fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Resistencia SC's protests and gave Xavies Orellana a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes La Resistencia SC got a freekick which was hit by Xavies Orellana. After a defensive mix-up in La Resistencia SC's zone, Gonzalo Guridi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Santervas came out of the goal and Gonzalo Guridi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xeneize BJ's Roque Antuñano suffered a concussion in the 88th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 88 minutes into the game, Nunez Ondarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Resistencia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xeneize BJ the free kick. Nunez Ondarra hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Xeneize BJ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Resistencia SC.
