Francisco Salero kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, SuperBarça's goalkeeper Pinto Cofresi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torres Socobio. Dundee UTD's Blanco Orejas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Teran in the 7th minute of play. Paulo Tineo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes, Francisco Salero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dundee UTD and the SuperBarça players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Dundee UTD got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Salero. Blanco Orejas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Jorrin in the 11th minute of play. Samuel Teran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Blanco Orejas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Teran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanco Orejas having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, SuperBarça's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Gorbea came free, but Pinto Cofresi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dundee UTD's Blanco Orejas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leoverliz Rincon in the 20th minute of play. Torres Socobio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Pinto Cofresi made a huge save. If Samuel Teran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Aurelio Bosch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Dundee UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Teran came free, but Blanco Orejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, SuperBarça's goalkeeper Pinto Cofresi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yiyo Ratra. Pinto Cofresi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Gorbea in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Dundee UTD got a corner. SuperBarça's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zambrano Juanes ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Gorbea in the 43rd minute of play forced SuperBarça's goalkeeper Pinto Cofresi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Samuel Teran notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dundee UTD's Blanco Orejas. Blanco Orejas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Dundee UTD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SuperBarça were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torres Socobio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dundee UTD's Blanco Orejas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Dundee UTD from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute Washington Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pinto Cofresi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Tineo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as SuperBarça's Samaniego Guerrez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blanco Orejas. That made the score 0-3 after 63 minutes of play. Samuel Teran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Teran got free with Blanco Orejas in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samaniego Guerrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanco Orejas having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Dundee UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Teran came free, but Blanco Orejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinto Cofresi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Bosch, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Washington Gorbea fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dundee UTD's protests and gave Washington Gorbea a yellow card for diving instead. Washington Gorbea kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Oswaldo Murguiondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinto Cofresi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
