The audience thought a goal was coming when Zuzen Gama got free with Łukasz Fabiański in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geovanny Sabugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. G2O's Adrian Grøndahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Zust in the 44th minute of play. The G2O players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Azulgranas were winning 0-1.

After a rather tough play, G2O's Tomas Espindola got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Azulgranas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
