Atilio Garcia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Oso Amezaga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Audaz FC's Atilio Garcia was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Atilio Garcias short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Oso Amezaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 12 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Pillado. 15 minutes into the match, Atilio Garcia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oso Amezaga, 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Caicedo Berrondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Patric Sandwall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oso Amezaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Patric Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caicedo Berrondo in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Audaz FC booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Audaz FC's Ahmet Korkut Hacıbeyoğlu was substituted for Gabriel Anuncibay. Audaz FC made a substitution. Serginho Chulapa replaced Daniels Cortez. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilio Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svante Lekberg in the 53rd minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mendoza Joseph replaced Caicedo Berrondo. In the 69thth minute of the game Hüsnü Kapar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Hüsnü Kapar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oso Amezaga was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svante Lekberg in the 79th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
