In the 14th match minute, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Hansson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klimowitz Cuba in the 15th minute of play forced Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goalkeeper Elias Arnedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorrin Pla made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Nicasio Raymond sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's zone, Barros Guau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Arnedo came out of the goal and Barros Guau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Ponce came free, but Elias Arnedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre booed when CD Golozos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Makazchiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Jefferson Farfán got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorrin Pla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Nicasio Raymond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jorrin Pla made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Jorrin Pla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A well-hit corner resulted in Ibarra Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 39thth minute of the game Nicasio Raymond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Golozos's Jorrin Pla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barros Guau to strike the kick off in the second half.
