Rocendo Saro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rocendo Saro in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romildo Abeita saved Chocoviejo FC from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Chocoviejo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodio Arnaiz came free, but Romildo Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacindo Caloca stood somewhat misplaced when Francho Neira came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valery Jofre during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valery Jofre hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chocoviejo FC's goalkeeper Romildo Abeita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Olival FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Javiero Escalona hit a great ball. Romildo Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodio Arnaiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rocendo Saro made the kick off in the second half. Olival FC's Clodio Arnaiz got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olival FC's Rocendo Saro pulled a muscle in his leg after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 57 minutes into the game, Kinsen Roldan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chocoviejo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olival FC the free kick. Olival FC's Jacindo Caloca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cucao Morga in the 65th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Francho Neira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cucao Morga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacindo Caloca having to make a save. If Francho Neira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cucao Morga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
