After a defensive mix-up in Mulatico's zone, Hector-Luis Florian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valiente Rendain came out of the goal and Hector-Luis Florian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervaso Mocellar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mulatico's goalkeeper Valiente Rendain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mulatico's Chano Moyua got a free kick in the 17th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Guacharco's Fabio Escabi tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Guacharco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaldo Vigalondo to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, Renaldo Vigalondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guacharco and the Mulatico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Renaldo Vigalondo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gervaso Mocellar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Inocencio Valls tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mulatico's Xurxo Brunati got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match, Jesus Ocasio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valiente Rendain was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Guacharco's Hector-Luis Florian in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mulatico's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Guacharco booed when Mulatico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chano Moyua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guacharco's Jesus Ocasio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesus Ocasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Valiente Rendain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xurxo Brunati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Valls having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Guacharco's Inocencio Valls proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Guacharco from getting a goal against them. Mulatico's Gervaso Mocellar got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Guacharco's goal looked a bit too open when Gervaso Mocellar came free, but Inocencio Valls reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Valls came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Mulatico's Xurxo Brunati. But to his dismay, Xurxo Brunati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Valiente Rendain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Ocasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Humberto Franquis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guacharco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mulatico the free kick. Humberto Franquis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Jesus Ocasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valiente Rendain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Zemario Marban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mulatico and the Guacharco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Zemario Marban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valiente Rendain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Ocasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play, Guacharco's Hector-Luis Florian made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valiente Rendain was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chano Moyua hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Jesus Ocasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valiente Rendain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
