When Costante Marron came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Portezuela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costante Marron couldn't finish the play. Lucian Natos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Arista went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lucian Natos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costante Marron in the 20th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Portezuela FC's Costante Marron made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucian Natos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucian Natos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Arista in the 23rd minute. Celedonio Casar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Cartagena FC's Celedonio Casar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florencio Millan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celedonio Casar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Millan having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costante Marron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juanito Goite hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cartagena FC's Celedonio Casar got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Xzaiver Ameztoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Natos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Casar struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Florencio Millan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cartagena FC. In the 68th minute, Garoa Baños hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, Cartagena FC's Urbano Massey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Millan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cartagena FC reached it. Celedonio Casar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Florencio Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Arista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Precioso Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Millan having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Cartagena FC's Florencio Millan threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celedonio Casar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lucian Natos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Arista, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Celedonio Casar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cartagena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Casar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucian Natos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Marron in the 94th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Precioso Lopes got free with Florencio Millan in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
