Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celio Cerezal started the match with the kick off. Qwinton Ballin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Casar, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Lucian Natos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celio Cerezal in the 11th minute of the match. Saul Gonzalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lucian Natos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximenes Lucero charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ximenes Lucero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Ximenes Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Celio Cerezal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Natos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celio Cerezal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Casar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Palitos defense, Celedonio Casar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qwinton Ballin. The Palitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qwinton Ballin should have stopped the shot. Qwinton Ballin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Precioso Lopes in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Precioso Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qwinton Ballin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celedonio Casar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Saul Gonzalo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucian Natos. Cartagena FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Gonzalo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 56th minute, Gutxi Medel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Cartagena FC booed when Palitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matro Rosell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucian Natos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celio Cerezal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucian Natos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Gonzalo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Cartagena FC's Precioso Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Precioso Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Celio Cerezal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucian Natos came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Palitos's Celio Cerezal. But to his dismay, Celio Cerezal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Cartagena FC's Ximenes Lucero got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute of the game, Precioso Lopes landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo Marron during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palitos! Urbano Massey shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Palitos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
