In the 7th minute, Erasmo Tofiño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Baul was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Arnaldo Baul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Foro Quexada in the 10th minute of the match. Laureano Liaño hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Clarinetero's Nerio Zubizarrieta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Unceta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Foro Quexada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nerio Zubizarrieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ramiro Unceta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Hitz Pinedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Unceta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Unceta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nerio Zubizarrieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Clarinetero booed when Chire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maura Secilia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nerio Zubizarrieta struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ramiro Unceta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clarinetero. After 24 minutes of play, Clarinetero's Hitz Pinedo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Unceta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramiro Unceta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nerio Zubizarrieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ramiro Unceta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nerio Zubizarrieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Erasmo Tofiño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chire's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Tofiño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Baul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Foro Quexada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Baul having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Clarinetero's goal looked a bit too open when Foro Quexada came free, but Arnaldo Baul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Foro Quexada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnaldo Baul, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nerio Zubizarrieta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Chire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxepare Cuba to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Nerio Zubizarrieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clarinetero's supporters rose to their feet, but Nerio Zubizarrieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Unceta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nerio Zubizarrieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute Nerio Zubizarrieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Unceta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Unceta made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Hitz Pinedo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Hitz Pinedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ramiro Unceta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nerio Zubizarrieta in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nerio Zubizarrieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Unceta was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chire's goalkeeper Ramiro Unceta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chire fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clarinetero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
