With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niko Riippa in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Fontoya saved Corneliano FC from getting behind. A collision led to Piramides getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Arotza Mareide hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Arnoldo Vinas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Benitez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corneliano FC's goalkeeper Felipe Fontoya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe Fontoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niko Riippa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Miño kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Rioja Alaiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Felipe Fontoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hondo Espinoso hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Bruno Riaza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piramides's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corneliano FC the free kick. After 32 played minutes Piramides got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Riaza. In the 34th minute, Corneliano FC's Niguel Tigero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Hondo Espinoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natalio Benitez. That made the score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. If Niko Riippa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Fontoya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niko Riippa's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Umea Encia to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Corneliano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Riaza came free, but Felipe Fontoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niko Riippa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Piramides's goal looked a bit too open when Hondo Espinoso came free, but Natalio Benitez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piramides's Natalio Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niguel Tigero in the 60th minute of play. Arotza Mareide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Fontoya having to interfere. Niko Riippa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Piramides was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oxarra Toralino to maneuver through the defense. Corneliano FC's Felipe Fontoya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Corneliano FC from getting a goal against them. When Piramides's Niko Riippa in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corneliano FC's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the game, Niko Riippa lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Felipe Fontoya. With 95 minutes on the clock, Cezar Stoicu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Piramides fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Corneliano FC. Arnoldo Vinas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Natalio Benitez. 3-2. Piramides's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Corneliano FC had won, even though Piramides had held more of the ball.
