After 14 minutes, Eguntsenti Otero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curumani FC and the Bertrania players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Curumani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eguntsenti Otero to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Bertrania's Niceto Mugica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cambranes Foubelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Conrao Pazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Barcelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Sal Carcedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrao Pazo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Ermano Chirinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Curumani FC's goalkeeper Cambranes Foubelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermano Chirinos. Ermano Chirinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eguntsenti Otero was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Bertrania booed when Curumani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eguntsenti Otero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Mugica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ermano Chirinos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bertrania's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermano Chirinos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cambranes Foubelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niceto Mugica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cambranes Foubelo having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ofelio Ripalta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bertrania's goalkeeper Conrao Pazo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Mugica in the 55th minute of play forced Curumani FC's goalkeeper Cambranes Foubelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Niceto Mugica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bertrania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Conrao Pazo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Mauricio Torrecillas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermano Chirinos in the 64th minute of play forced Curumani FC's goalkeeper Cambranes Foubelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mogel Hualde hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ermano Chirinos notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Curumani FC's Cambranes Foubelo. Cambranes Foubelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ermano Chirinos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bertrania's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermano Chirinos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cambranes Foubelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sal Carcedo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sal Carcedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bertrania had won after a very even match.
