Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Opilano Aleman got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Andrew Funes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villaneueva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrew Funes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feo Rocandia's late challenge caught a Villaneueva FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feo Rocandia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Shiruri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feo Rocandia to maneuver through the defense. If Andrew Funes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onbera Estramiana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Opilano Aleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Oro Rosich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Silguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isias Elorriaga charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isias Elorriaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Shiruri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isias Elorriaga to maneuver through the defense. Andrew Funes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Papo Aleman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villaneueva FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Shiruri FC. Zelipe Lami stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Horacio Silguero. 0-1. When Feo Rocandia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. Feo Rocandia kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Villaneueva FC's zone, Gaitano Barrientos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Silguero came out of the goal and Gaitano Barrientos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Shiruri FC booed when Villaneueva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benino Cabarcos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villaneueva FC's Horacio Silguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maureo Enestrosa in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Villaneueva FC got a freekick which was hit by Benino Cabarcos. Eduardo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isias Elorriaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Silguero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. When Eduardo Castro came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Shiruri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Castro couldn't finish the play. If Oro Rosich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Eduardo Castro made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Funes in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Onbera Estramiana saved Shiruri FC from getting behind. Horacio Silguero came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Shiruri FC's Eduardo Castro. But to his dismay, Eduardo Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 80 minutes, Andrew Funes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villaneueva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrew Funes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eduardo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oro Rosich struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Horacio Silguero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shiruri FC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Shiruri FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
