Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Opilano Aleman made the kick off and thus started the match. Menendo Ribadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Andrew Funes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduino Falavarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Peruanton Fontoria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Puntetigre's Peruanton Fontoria got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Opilano Aleman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villaneueva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Opilano Aleman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Puntetigre's Eduino Falavarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Opilano Aleman in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes Puntetigre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Orlanda Maltrana who took care of the corner kick. When Gabino Griego fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puntetigre's protests and gave Gabino Griego a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Puntetigre's Gabino Griego got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 25th match minute Orlanda Maltrana ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Eduino Falavarte. 2-0. Menendo Ribadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Silguero having to interfere. Andrew Funes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Eduino Falavarte made a huge save. When Andrew Funes came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Villaneueva FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Funes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Puntetigre booed when Villaneueva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Funes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Villaneueva FC's goal looked a bit too open when Menendo Ribadas came free, but Horacio Silguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peruanton Fontoria in the 45th minute of play forced Villaneueva FC's goalkeeper Horacio Silguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villaneueva FC's zone, Peruanton Fontoria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Silguero came out of the goal and Peruanton Fontoria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Menendo Ribadas made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Villaneueva FC's Andrew Funes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduino Falavarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrew Funes in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduino Falavarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peruanton Fontoria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Silguero having to interfere. Horacio Silguero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menendo Ribadas in the 64th minute of play. Peruanton Fontoria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Horacio Silguero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Silguero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menendo Ribadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduino Falavarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Funes in the 77th minute of play. Andrew Funes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Silguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menendo Ribadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Puntetigre's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Funes came free, but Eduino Falavarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Puntetigre's Peruanton Fontoria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Silguero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Villaneueva FC had won after a very even match.
