The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quico Andolz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mancio Gener made a kick off. Guido Guilizasti charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Guilizasti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chachafruto FC's Guido Guilizasti got a free kick in the 51st minute. Quico Andolz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Tibacuy's Arnulfo Ibañez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quico Andolz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Luis-Antonio Bilbao made a precise shot to the right of Silverio Moyano. Tibacuy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 75th minute Millano Millon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quico Andolz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Luis-Antonio Bilbao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chachafruto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis-Antonio Bilbao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Moyano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis-Antonio Bilbao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Silverio Moyano made a huge save. Luis-Antonio Bilbao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 96th minute of the match Leopoldo Baldaliso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent.
