After 3 played minutes Palogordo got a freekick which was hit by Txema Rioseco. Orlin Peruyera made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Lidon Ameztoy sent off a good shot on target. Eliu Busto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frascuelo Lereira having to interfere. Orlin Peruyera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ospin Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Eliu Busto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliu Busto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Lidon Ameztoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Orlin Peruyera however easily saved by the left post. In the 28th minute Gonsalve Cumbres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frascuelo Lereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ospin Millano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Palogordo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Lidon Ameztoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ospin Millano got in the 40th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Orlin Peruyera handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Ospin Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palogordo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ospin Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ospin Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Rosario Hero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonsalve Cumbres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Palogordo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifaco Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Eliu Busto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Frascuelo Lereira firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Lanapa FC's zone, Ospin Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlin Peruyera came out of the goal and Ospin Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlin Peruyera came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Palogordo's Ospin Millano. But to his dismay, Ospin Millano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Eliu Busto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lidon Ameztoy came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Palogordo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lidon Ameztoy couldn't finish the play. Gonsalve Cumbres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Ospin Millano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlin Peruyera. Lanapa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ospin Millano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
