Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Beturian Villagra got the match started through his kick off. Beturian Villagra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xinto Angelo having to interfere. Domenec Simancas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Beturian Villagra came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Majajeyes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beturian Villagra couldn't finish the play. If Pelayo Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canaveralito FC's Pelayo Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Majajeyes got a freekick which was hit by Obano Betardo. The Majajeyes fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Majajeyes's Beturian Villagra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Beturian Villagra struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Xinto Angelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Majajeyes. Pacorro Hortero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damaso Mattei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Lop Gabiña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beturian Villagra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damaso Mattei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pelayo Camargo's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelayo Camargo in the 48th minute of play forced Majajeyes's goalkeeper Damaso Mattei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelayo Camargo to strike the kick off in the second half. Domenec Simancas's late challenge caught a Majajeyes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenec Simancas helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Canaveralito FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenec Simancas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beturian Villagra in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xinto Angelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Majajeyes got a freekick which was hit by Obano Betardo. Aquiles Azurmendi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Damaso Mattei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelayo Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Domenec Simancas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Mattei having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Pacorro Hortero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damaso Mattei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some careless play in the Majajeyes defense, Pacorro Hortero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Mattei. The Majajeyes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Mattei should have stopped the shot. Hanot Verganza hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, Canaveralito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenec Simancas to maneuver through the defense. Xinto Angelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lop Gabiña's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Lop Gabiña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xinto Angelo having to interfere. A collision led to Majajeyes getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jaunzuria Nueva hit a great ball. Xinto Angelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lop Gabiña, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Pelayo Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Canaveralito FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Canaveralito FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
