In the 7th minute, Transito Sever got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Urones hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, Tumechico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Arbulo to maneuver through the defense. Tumechico FC's Rosario Quemada got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Tumechico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inguma Licher to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Ovin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Transito Sever went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tumechico FC's Rosario Quemada got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in America Zone's zone, Transito Sever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Ovin came out of the goal and Transito Sever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Faustino Olan made the kick off in the second half. Tumechico FC's Inguma Licher pulled a muscle in his back after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ieltxu Rescuro fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored America Zone's protests and gave Ieltxu Rescuro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Ieltxu Rescuro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of America Zone booed when Tumechico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nardo Urdapilleta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Herensuge Lombana fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored America Zone's protests and gave Herensuge Lombana a yellow card for diving instead. 61 minutes into the match, Tumechico FC's Transito Sever sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Ovin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Tumechico FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Transito Sever hit a great ball. Ernesto Ovin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Transito Sever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Transito Sever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Bernard Iñigo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 79th match minute, America Zone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Urones to maneuver through the defense. Txurio Lada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ernesto Ovin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Faustino Olan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viator Grau, 1-1. A collision led to Tumechico FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Reynaldo Galantia hit a great ball. America Zone succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tumechico FC had controlled the match.
