Jabier Rancel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavian Canta's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Iratxo Obaldia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jabier Rancel. Nuevo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iratxo Obaldia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Marcelo Cercalde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Cercalde in the 31st minute of play forced Pasuncha's goalkeeper Pasqual Claveria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavian Canta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jabier Rancel having to interfere. Iratxo Obaldia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jabier Rancel having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Senen Romeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nuevo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pasuncha the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Nuevo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pasuncha:s goal. The referee gave Pasuncha a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juvenal Iturralde, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nuevo FC's Jabier Rancel. 3-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Cercalde made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Marcelo Cercalde took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Pasqual Claveria to make any attempt to save it. Iratxo Obaldia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jabier Rancel having to interfere. Cesaro Sariego who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Pasqual Claveria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jabier Rancel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavian Canta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zelipe Arandajo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Pasqual Claveria made a huge save. Iratxo Obaldia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jabier Rancel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pasuncha's Pasqual Claveria got control of the ball when Cesaro Sariego tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iratxo Obaldia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jabier Rancel having to interfere. Marcelo Cercalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pasqual Claveria having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Nuevo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavian Canta came free, but Jabier Rancel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nuevo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pasuncha.
