Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mon Royo kicked off to start the match. After 2 minutes, Serafino Camaño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapurite FC and the Mateyuca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Serafino Camaño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute, Raimundo Peñuñuri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimo Vincens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Gonsalvo Florez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimo Vincens was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Dimo Vincens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonsalvo Florez in the 12th minute of play. When Mateyuca's Raimundo Peñuñuri in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mapurite FC's goalie prevented a goal. Abel Echavarria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domiku Guijano in the 17th minute. Raimundo Peñuñuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimo Vincens having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Mateyuca's Raimundo Peñuñuri made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimo Vincens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonsalvo Florez in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimo Vincens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Raimundo Peñuñuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Ansola kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Mapurite FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Peñuñuri came free, but Dimo Vincens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mon Royo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Echavarria having to interfere. After the first half Mateyuca were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonsalvo Florez was the one to do the kick off. Gonsalvo Florez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimo Vincens having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Gonsalvo Florez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mapurite FC's Dimo Vincens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonsalvo Florez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matro Licher kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Mon Royo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapurite FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mon Royo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mon Royo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Mateyuca were awarded a corner. Lugo Reimundez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mateyuca's Lugo Reimundez to fire away a dangerous shot which Dimo Vincens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mon Royo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domiku Guijano in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Echavarria saved Mateyuca from getting behind. If Raimundo Peñuñuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonsalvo Florez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Raimundo Peñuñuri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mateyuca's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Peñuñuri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimo Vincens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mateyuca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
